UNSAR Adhesion

THE UNSAR ADMISION PROCEDURE FOR INSURANCE AND REINSURANCE COMPANIES

1. The adhering company sends an application to the General Secretariat, to the attention of the Committee Board (the President). The application will be signed by the President or by the General Manager of that company.

2. In order to become an UNSAR member the criteria for admission are send by the General Secretariat to the adhering company.
- If the adhering company fulfills the criteria the procedure can continue with point no. 3.
- If the adhering company does not fulfill these criteria, the application is revoked and postponed until these criteria are fulfilled.

3. The UNSAR Secretariat will ask the adhering company to draw up the file and to fill in the Frame Form.
The file must contain the following:

a) The history of the company from the date of setting up until present;
b) The Company' Statute;
c) Constitutional Act (the shareholder structure and the social capital); Including the main changes of all these till present;
d) Incorporation Certificate;
a) Fiscal Registration Act;
b) ISC licence (and all changes in the activity object);
c) Specifically insurance classes;
d) The balance sheet and profit and loss account for the last three years;

The Frame Form will be given to the adhering company to be completed (upon the request of the company). Together with this form the company will receive the UNSAR's Statute and Code of Conduct. In the same time, UNSAR will inform the adhering company about the adhesion fees.

4. The adhering company's file will be handed in to the UNSAR's Secretariat.

5. The file will be presented in the Committee Board meeting and this will decide what ever supplementary information are required or if a person from the adhering company top management (President or General Manager) must be present to the next meeting.
- If YES, one or two persons from the company's top management will be invited to the next Committee Board meeting.
- If NOT it will be decided if the file will be recommended or not to the UNSAR's General Assembly; if the adhering company will not be recommended to the General Assembly the objective reasons for the denial or postponing will presented.

6. In respect with the supplementary information offered by the representatives of the adhering company at the next Committee Board meeting it will be decided if the adhering company will be recommended to the General Assembly.
- If YES, at the next General Assembly meeting the file of the adhering company will be recommended by Committee Board - this will be a distinct topic on the agenda (at this meeting will be invited the President or the General Manager of the adhering company).
- If NOT, objective reasons will be provided in order to explain the denial or the postponing the adhesion.

7. If the Committee Board recommend the adhering company to the General Assembly at the topic on the agenda named "Adhesion of the new companies", the UNSAR Secretariat will present at the meeting the Adhering Frame Form (and, if it is necessary some other information about the adhering company).
Following the debates within the General Assembly meeting it will be decided if the company is accepted as a fill rights member or not.
- If YES, in the same meeting it will be decided the adhesion fee and the annual contribution that will be paid for current year (it the fee will be paid 100% or only a percentage of x% from the annual contribution of each member for the current year according with the date of the adhesion) by the new UNSAR member
- If NOT, objective reasons for the denial or postponing adhesion (with remarks).

8. In case that the adhesion of the company was postponed - with remarks - by the Committee Board or by the General Assembly, the procedure will be resumed from point 5 of this procedure, asking for new information in order to complete the adhesion file upon the requests of the Committee Board or the General Assembly.

This procedure was approved by the Committee Board in the meeting of 17th September 1999.

a. Accidents and illness insurances inclusive of work accidents and professional disabilities for which material loss may be paid or in nature or joined (mixed)(money or in nature) as well as passengers bodily injury;

b. Health insurances for which material loss in money or in nature may be paid as well as joined (mixed) (financial or in nature)

c. Insurances for terrestrial means of transport other than rail, covering any loss sustained by the terrestrial motor vehicles or without motor;

h. Fire or natural calamities insurances, covering any partial or total loss, other than those mentioned under points 3-7, caused by the fire, earthquake, flood, other natural calamities;

i. Other property insurances, covering any partial or total loss sustained by the property or goods insured, other than those mentioned under points 3-8, caused by hale or frost and other events;

j. Civil liability insurances referring to the domestic compulsory civil liability, for damage caused by the motor vehicles accidents and the outward motor civil liability, green card as well which covers any liability arising out of losses sustained by third parties as a result of vehicles' use, carrier's liability included;

k. Aviation civil liability covering any liability arising out of damages caused to Third parties by using the air vehicles, carrier's liability included;

l. Marine liability insurances to cover any liabilities arising out of losses sustained by third parties by using the marine, river, lakes or navigable channels 's vehicles, carrier liability included;

m. General civil liability covering any liabilities arising out of losses sustained by the third parties other than those mentioned under the points 10-12;

n. Credits and guaranties' insurances the object of which being the coverage of risks of general insolvability, credit for export, instalments sales, mortgaged credits, agricultural credit as well as direct or indirect guaranties;

o. Financial loss insurances covering risks of losses as a result of: using, income insufficiency, bad whether losses, losses of benefits, unforeseen commercial costs, keeping the general costs, loss of market value, loss of rent or other income, indirect commercial loss, other than those above mentioned as well as commercial or other financial losses;

p. Legal aid insurances having as a subject matter insured the legal costs or other services arising out from the insurance coverage like: loss recovery sustained by the insured by a civil or criminal proceeding, defending or representing the insured in a criminal, administrative proceeding or in a claim against the insured;

q. Tourist insurances covering the risk of assisting persons in distress during a journey or during this persons' s absence from home or the permanent residence.
